Thank You!!

Hello everyone!!

I wanted to thank you all for the thoughtful emails you sent me this week. They completely turned my week around and helped me feel so much love and positivity. I am so incredibly blessed to have friends and family like you supporting me while I am gone. Thank you for following the promptings of the Spirit. What may have seemed like small gestures to you were huge miracles in my life. Thank you for being such amazing examples to me! I love you all!!

This week has been a rollercoaster! But so so good!! I love my district more and more every day, and it is so hard to imagine being a missionary without them. I can't wait for these next 10 days together!

Probably the hardest part about being in the MTC is not having children in my life! I miss them sooooo much! Children love so freely, and they love so simply! I try hard to see the world through their eyes without all of the prejudice and judgment, but it's really difficult! Loving others is so simple, and I admire the way children share love and joy. I am excited to teach and learn from the children in Thailand! I know they will always have a special place in my heart.

I love you all and hope you have the BEST week!

Character of Christ
This week, I want to talk about my beautiful companion, Sister Schefer! Ahhhh, she is so amazing, I don't even know where to start! Sister Schefer has helped me through SO much here at the MTC. She has definitely seen me at my worst, and she loves me through it all so unconditionally. One of the Christ-like attributes I admire in Sister Schefer is her patience. Sister Schefer is always patient with me, no matter how she or I are feeling that day. Her patience and love are always consistent. Because of her patience, she is constantly changing her perspectives on life, which I think is so beautiful. She is constantly growing every single day and following the promptings of the Spirit so closely. I'm not sure what I am going to do without you as my companion, Sister Schefer, but I know that it was for a reason you were my first companion. God knew I would need someone a little extra patient, loving, and special. I love you so so much! Thank you for being someone I can look up to and for reminding me of Christ!
