Anna!!

Hello everyone! Happy graduation!! I hope this week was full of celebration! This week was good! Transfers happened, and I am staying in Nakhon Sawan for a third transfer with Sister Weston! I am excited to keep getting to know the people here and see God's perfect timing.  This week we had the opportunity to have dinner with the Sister missionaries who are currently serving in my past area. We were talking about the work there and how everyone is progressing. I found out that a little girl we had found while I was serving there had gotten baptized! Her name is Anna, and she is such a sweet friend. The news of her baptism filled me with so much joy!!  I love missionary work because it is not about us! Everyone who is baptized has many missionaries come and go throughout their conversion. But it doesn't matter, because their conversion is to Jesus Christ and nobody else. I love being part of the Lord's work and meeting these people at such important moments in their eternal ...

SONGKRAN

Hey everyone! Happy Songkran!! Songkran is the celebration of the Thai New Year and is basically just a 3-day, country-wide, massive water fight. It is awesome haha. It was such a fun opportunity to get to know the culture better by playing and celebrating with our friends and members!  Everything else has been going great! We have a constant supply of mangos and bananas from our friends haha. Before my mission, I didn't like mangos. But now I eat at least one every day, and they are SO GOOD! Recently, I have been studying many talks by President Oaks. He is an incredible servant of the Lord, and I believe that he is God's prophet on earth today! I want to invite you all to read his first-ever general conference address called "Why Do We Serve?"  President Oaks gives some great counsel about the relationship between our desire and our service. I invite you all to read it and think about where you are. Why do YOU serve? How can you change your desire to be more Christl...

BEST DAY EVER

Hello everyone!!  This week was so amazing! Last Thursday was probably the best day of my life. We went to Bangkok to go to the temple.  And I was able to be the escort for one of my best friends as she went through the temple for the first time! It was one of the most tender experiences of my entire mission.  Her name is ดรีม (Dream), and she is my Thailand Soul Sister! We have so much in common and also nothing at the same time. But we are both 20-year-old girls who love serving the Lord and having fun together. And I know that she is a big reason why I was assigned to this area at this time. A couple of weeks ago, Dream submitted her papers to be a missionary! It has been so amazing to support her and watch her grow as she prepares for this next chapter of her life.  All of the members here in Thailand just love missionary work. One of the Elders I am serving with right now is from Thailand and was baptized about a year and a half ago. Missionary work intrigued hi...
