BEST DAY EVER

Hello everyone!! 

This week was so amazing! Last Thursday was probably the best day of my life. We went to Bangkok to go to the temple. 

And I was able to be the escort for one of my best friends as she went through the temple for the first time! It was one of the most tender experiences of my entire mission. 

Her name is ดรีม (Dream), and she is my Thailand Soul Sister! We have so much in common and also nothing at the same time. But we are both 20-year-old girls who love serving the Lord and having fun together. And I know that she is a big reason why I was assigned to this area at this time.

A couple of weeks ago, Dream submitted her papers to be a missionary! It has been so amazing to support her and watch her grow as she prepares for this next chapter of her life. 

All of the members here in Thailand just love missionary work. One of the Elders I am serving with right now is from Thailand and was baptized about a year and a half ago. Missionary work intrigued him so much and was a big part of his testimony in joining our church. He asked his parents 5 times for permission to serve a mission before they said yes. I am beyond inspired by his faith. He has been a member for less than two years! I absolutely love how much missionary work is a part of everyone's testimony here. If this church wasn't true, I simply would not be able to be a missionary. I would not have the strength or knowledge. And I definitely wouldn't be able to speak Thai, haha.  

I believe that all religion is good. And all religions teach others the importance of being good people. But I know that this church is Christ's only complete and true church on Earth. 

I am thrilled every day to be a part of His great work!!

I love you all! The Lord has a great work for you to do as well. So go ask him for your next job!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! This week has been amazing!! We only have about 3 more days here, which is CRAZY, and then we're off to Thailand!! This week I've been thinking a lot about my family. Growing up, they always taught me to be the first ones to start working and the last ones to leave. I learned to always "ask for your next job" until the work was completed. THAILAND!!

Helloooo from Thailand!! I am so sorry I don't have a lot of time today, but I will try to send a longer email next week! It's official! I got here last week, and it's been crazy but so so good! My trainer's name is Sister Skidmore and she is absolutely AMAZING! I am so so blessed to be with her, and she knows literally everything haha. I am so excited to learn from her! I am in Hua Hin and I LOVE the people here! The hardest part has been the culture shock. But I have found so much comfort in the Spirit! "for the Spirit is the same yesterday, today, and forever." - 2 Nephi 2:4 No matter where we are, the spirit and the gospel are the same for all of God's children. I have never been more grateful for this truth, but I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to find true peace because His Spirit is consistent and constant.  I love you all!! Hello everyone!!  I wanted to thank you all for the thoughtful emails you sent me this week. They completely turned my week around and helped me feel so much love and positivity. I am so incredibly blessed to have friends and family like you supporting me while I am gone. Thank you for following the promptings of the Spirit. What may have seemed like small gestures to you were huge miracles in my life. Thank you for being such amazing examples to me! I love you all!! This week has been a rollercoaster! But so so good!! I love my district more and more every day, and it is so hard to imagine being a missionary without them.
