Life is Good

Hi everything!!

I hope life is SO GOOD!

This week was transfers and I am staying in Nakhon Sawan!!

We had to say goodbye to the trio, but my new companion is AMAZING! Her name is Sister Weston and she is such a hard worker! This transfer is gonna be fire!

A few weeks ago I had an exchange in Bangkok, and someone we were teaching said something that really stuck with me. He said that when we have faith, it's like we are giving our heart to God. This reminded me of the word กลับใจ(glap-jai), which means to repent. กลับ means to return, and ใจ means heart.

To repent means to return our heart to God. It can be really easy to follow the ways of the world and follow the natural man. But we must earnestly try every day to give our hearts back to God. Only then will we be able to fully understand and feel His love.

I love this concept because we can do this every day! Multiple times a day! Because of our agency, we have the choice to stop what we are doing, saying, or thinking, and return our hearts to God. Anytime.

What is one way you can return your heart to God this week? I love the word "return" because it was really His to begin with.

I love you all so much! Thank you for all of the emails! I really, really do appreciate it, and I am sorry I am so bad at responding!

Have an amazing week!
Lots of love,
- Sister South

Character of Christ
This week I want to talk about Sister Chadwhick! Sister Chadwhick was one of my teachers in the MTC, and she is AMAZING! I admire her in so many ways and want to be a missionary just like her. One thing I admire most about her is her relationship with the Spirit. She is so in tune with what God wants her to do, say, and even think. I admire the way that she uses this relationship to bless the lives of others. Because she is led by the Spirit, she is able to truly be an angel and instrument in the Lord's hands. I see a lot of Jesus Christ in her, and I have no doubt that Christ's relationship with the Spirit is perfect. He is able to do exactly what God wants Him to do because He has the Spirit guiding every little decision He makes. Thank you, Sister Chadwhick, for being such a great Christ-like example to me by showing me the importance of living by the Spirit! I love and miss you!!
